Questions Galore has standard competition sets that follow state specifications for the format, number of questions, and categories of questions. These sets are currently available for the states of Illinois, Arkansas, Alabama, Missouri, and Kentucky. We can also create custom-made questions sets to meet your specific needs. Every competition set is unique to your area, every set is different and all questions are changed yearly. Questions are available for the following levels: Elementary (grades 5-6), Junior High (grades 7-8), High School Junior Varsity (grades 9-10), and High School Varsity (grades 11-12). See below for a description of the format of the question sets for each state.
Illinois: High School JV and Varsity level question sets contain 30 toss up and 30 bonus questions (3, 4, or 5 parts), with a half-way mark after toss up question 15. The Junior High and Elementary level question sets contain 30 toss up and 20 bonus questions (3, 4, or 5 parts), with a half-way mark after toss up question 15.
Arkansas: All question sets contain 4 rounds. Round one has 20 toss up questions. Round two has 10 toss up and 4, four-part bonus questions. Round three has 3, ten-part lightning round questions. Round four has 20 toss up questions.
Alabama: All question sets contain 4 periods. Period one has 10 toss up questions. Period two has 10 toss up questions with a two-part bonus question follow up. Period three is a 20-question worksheet. Period four has 10 toss up questions.
Missouri: All question sets contain four quarters. Quarter one contains 15 toss up questions. Quarter two contains 10 toss up questions and 10, four-part bonus questions. Quarter three contains 15 toss up questions. Quarter four contains 10 toss up questions and 10, four-part bonus questions.
Kentucky: High School JV and Varsity level question sets contain 100 toss up questions with a half-way mark after question 50. The Junior High and Elementary level question sets contain 80 toss up questions with a half-way mark after question 40.
Questions Galore sells practice questions for use in team practices only. These questions have been used in previous tournaments and should NOT be used for competitions. Practice questions are available for the following levels: Elementary (grades 5-6), Junior High (grades 7-8), High School Junior Varsity (grades 9-10), and High School Varsity (grades 11-12).
There are 7 different books available. Each book has at least 1,500 questions covering all major academic categories.

Questions Galore has more than 75 mini study guides available on a variety of topics (click on link to see full list of available study guides). Each study guide is 7-12 pages long and contains definitions, lists, and important terms on each topic. Order a set of 25 and save.
Each month from October through March Questions Galore offers monthly packets that include practice questions (120 toss up and 50 bonus questions), games, puzzles, and a current events newsletter. Order individual months, or order all six months and save.
